Preliminary Ecological Appraisals

We regularly conduct initial or baseline assessments (also known as extended Phase 1 habitat surveys).

These assessments are often a first step in identifying the ecological impacts of development to determine whether further detailed surveys are needed.

As such these preliminary assessments may be required as a planning condition.

Bat Surveys

We cover all aspects of Bat surveying from initial assessments to determine bat roost suitability in buildings, bridges, underground structures or trees, as well as further detailed surveys such as emergence or activity surveys.

We use the latest technologies and conduct surveys with specialised ultrasonic detectors, thermal imaging and endoscope cameras.
